Podcast Production Assistant
We are seeking a talented and motivated Podcast Production Assistant to join our team. As a PA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production process and ensuring the successful completion of projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about podcasting and wants to contribute to the creation of high-quality content.
Pre-Production Assistance:
Conduct research on potential podcast topics and guests.
Draft interview questions
Assist in drafting episode outlines and scripts.
Assist with booking guests for the show.
Coordinate with hosts, guests, and external production company to schedule recording sessions.
Production Support:
Assist during recording sessions.
Take detailed notes during recordings for reference in post-production.
Collaborate with the external production team to manage episode from conception to completion.
Post-Production Tasks:
Manage external production company in delivery of completed edited audio and video files.
Distribution and Promotion:
Upload finished episodes to website ensure proper tagging and metadata.
Assist in creating promotional materials for social media and other marketing channels.
Experience:
Background in journalism or communications required.
Healthy love for fashion and history and a passion for storytelling.
Previous experience in podcast/show production or related field is preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent research skills
